About

Delesta Drumgoole is a mental health professional turned entrepreneur who has worked extensively to advocate for children and adults in mental health, substance use, eating disorder, and autism treatments. She is originally from Washington DC and received her BA in Psychology from St. Augustine’s University. In addition, Delesta earned her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Prior to building HANDS, Delesta was the Director of Utilization Management at Carolina House. She also has more than eight years of collective experience in executive leadership, quality improvement, program development, and individual and group counseling. When she is not busy shuttling her daughters to different sports and activities, Delesta can be found at the nearest Starbucks.
