ABA Assessments in North Carolina
HANDS ON ABA Assessments
HANDS believes strongly in the rigorous process of evaluation and assessments for individualized treatment planning and goal selection for every child. Our Board-Certified Behavior Analyst will evaluate each child’s current skills profile, which includes domains of language, social skills, play skills, self-care, and any challenging behaviors that may have become barriers to reaching the next steps of progress during the initial assessment.
We don’t believe that one general plan will work for every child or family that comes to us for help. There is no one-size-fits-all solution in this case. Our HANDS ON ABA skills assessments are one of the first steps toward discovering the best ways to help your child take on the unique challenges they face each day. ABA assessments can determine the areas that our therapeutic services should focus on the most, allowing us to customize a treatment plan that will let us see the most effective results in the shortest amount of time possible.
HANDS ON Intake Process
The HANDS Intake process is unique as it combines traditional assessments with an in-depth parent or caregiver interview to identify particular goals or skills that are most meaningful to each family. We strive to build in goals that reflect family traditions, values, or practices that would help bring a child closer to the heart of family activities.
