ABA Assessments in North Carolina

HANDS believes strongly in the rigorous process of evaluation and assessment for individualized treatment planning and goal selection for every child. Our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will evaluate each child’s current skills profile, which includes domains of language, social skills, play skills, self-care, and any maladaptive behaviors.
The ABA skills assessment process may include observation, parent and caregiver interviews, skill-based assessments, and a review of relevant records to best understand your child’s abilities and areas for growth. Our BCBA will develop a tailored treatment plan for each child that outlines:
- Recommended number of ABA treatment hours per week
- Treatment methodology
- Program goals
- Other therapeutic considerations
